Maytag Error Codes

Maytag is built by Whirlpool and shares the same control platforms, so Maytag washers, dryers, and dishwashers use the same F# E# codes as their Whirlpool equivalents. The most common Maytag codes are below; the Whirlpool hub covers the same code set in more detail.

⚠ Safety first. Unplug the appliance (or switch off its breaker) before touching internal parts. Gas, high-voltage, and sealed refrigerant-system repairs must be done by a licensed professional. If you smell gas or see scorching, stop and call a technician.
